Ecological Descriptors
Carnivorous, estuary, marine, neritic, planktonic.
Diagnosis
Up to 310 mm wide; rhopaliar and tentacular stomach pouches connected by several broad, transverse anastomoses; peripheral canals without anastomoses; radial muscles entirely outside the periphery of the circular muscle band; horseshoe-shaped insertions of tentacle groups 2-3 times as long as broad.
