Subfamily Cryptorhynchinae Schönherr, 1825
- Cryptorhynchinae.
Introduction
Cryptorhynchinae is a hyper-diverse weevil subfamily. Riedel ei al. (2016) provided the first comprehensive molecular phylogeny for the subfamily and transferred the tribes Cryptorhynchini and Psepholacini from Molytinae to Cryptorhynchinae, supported by the morphology of the mesosternal receptacle.
