Introduction
Costadelos is distinguished by the small, strongly ribbed shell with very wide, cup-shaped umbilicus. It differs from Laevidelos and Montidelos chiefly by the intensity of the radial sculpture.

Diagnosis
Shell small, subdiscoidal, with flat to low domed spire; protoconch with curved radial ribs, teleoconch sculpture of strong curved radial ribs and very weak spiral striae above, weak discontinuous spiral striae below; umbilicus extremely wide, cup-shaped. Colour yellow.
