Revision of the genus Cosmozosteria Stål. Australian Journal of Zoology 15: 593–618 (613) did not include all of Tepper's original series as paralectotypes contrary to Art. 74, ICZN 1985, she did however state that specimens from the original series and labelled 'cotype' are in AM, ANIC and QM, but did not specify numbers in each museum); ANIC ♀ adult; QM 3♂ 5♀ (and AM; Tepper listed 8♂ 7♀ in original series; Mackerras, M.J. 1967. Extra Ecological Information
Record from in leaf axils of Pandanus spiralis [Pandanaceae], eggs hatch after approximately two months at 20 to 25ºC, nymphs reach maturity after about eight months.
