- Cleidothaerus Stutchbury, S. 1830. On two new genera of Testaceous Mollusca, and five new species of the genus Anatina, lately discovered at Port Jackson, New South Wales. Zoological Journal London 5(17): 95-101, pls 42-43 [96, 97] [Clidothaerus [Agassiz, 1847, Nomenclator Zoologicus. Index universalis: 80] was suggested to be a more correct spelling, but was not used as valid, and is not an available name].
Type species:
Cleidothaerus chamoides Stutchbury, 1830 by monotypy.
