Introduction

The Cixiini in Australia has historically been used as a dumping ground for genera whose affinities were unknown. Birgit Löcker has been revising the tribe one genus at a time and has now completed revisions of Calamister Kirkaldy (Löcker 2014), Leptolamia Metcalf (Löcker 2014) and Aka White (Löcker 2015). The Australian fauna currently includes 34 species in 9 genera.
