Extra Distribution Information
Darwin region, Cobourg Peninsula region, E Gulf of Carpentaria, NT. Ciocalypta vansoesti is common in Darwin Harbour and Bynoe Harbour. It is also recorded from Cobourg Peninsula and the Gulf of Carpentaria. It is found intertidally and subtidally to 40 m depth (Alvarez & Hooper 2011).
Australian Endemic.
