Note #49: Citharodica Meyrick, 1914. Meyrick inadvertently made this name nomenclaturally available in July 1914 by referring a new species, C. minyra, to the genus. In December 1914 he formally described the genus and designated C. minyra Meyrick as the type species. However, he erroneously attributed the genus to Turner)
