Introduction
The Cheiridiinae comprises five Recent genera (Harvey 1991) distributed in most parts of the world.
Diagnosis
The Cheiridiinae differ from Pycnocheiridiinae by the movement of all of the trichobothria to a basal position on the chelal fingers.
