Introduction
Charopinesta goweri can be distinguished from sympatric punctids by the combination of dark brown shell, deep sutures and weak sculpture.

Litter-dwelling, montane rainforest, scrub.
Diagnosis
Shell very small, very dark resinous brown, subdiscoidal with flattened to very low spire; whorls rounded, sutures deep; protoconch with crowded spiral lirae, teleoconch with irregular, rather crowded growth lines with crowded finer spiral lirae; umbilicus moderately narrow; diameter 2.5mm.
