- Psilopoderma Poli, 1795 [Testacea utriusque Siciliae..., 2: 253, 258; Psilopododerma (Agassiz, 1847, Nomenclator Zoologicus. Index universalis: 313) was suggested to be a more correct spelling, but was not used as valid, and is not an available name. See also Psilopus].
- Lacinea Sowerby II, 1842 ["Humphrey" ms; in syn. (Moore); G.B. Sowerby II (1842, A conchological manual, ed. 2: 168) has an entry for "Lacinea Humphrey". Not available under Art. 11.5.2: listed in a dictionary as equal to Chama "Lamarck" [Chama Linnaeus, 1758], but not used as the valid name of a taxon.].
