Ecological Descriptors
Benthic, colonial, marine, sandy bottom, sessile.
Extra Ecological Information
On sandy bottom with Bryozoa, colony very friable, coarsely arenaceous, often with Foraminifera, sponge spicules, gastropod shells, shell fragments and sand grains embedded in the common coenoecial material and in the walls of the tubes, mature female and hermaphrodite zooids in same colony, numerous buds.
