Larva: herbivore (associated flora: Caesalpinia bonduc (L.) Roxb. [CAESALPINIACEAE] Grey-nicker; Trema tomentosa (Roxb.) H.Hara [ULMACEAE] Nettle Tree; Pipturus argenteus (G.Forst.) Wedd. [URTICACEAE] White Nettle; Harpullia pendula F.Muell. [SAPINDACEAE]).

Type data: lectotype BMNH *; Butler in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described; Waterhouse, G.A. 1936. [unpublished personal manuscript of observations made at the BMNH (Papilionidae, Pieridae, Danainae)]. Photocopy located at ANIC, Canberra, ACT. 29 pp. [59] (referred to a single male type in the BMNH); Hirowatari, T. 1992. A generic classification of the Tribe Polyommatini of the Oriental and Australian Regions (Lepidoptera, Lycaenidae, Polyommatini).
