Subfamily Carabinae Latreille, 1802
Introduction
Sota et al. (2022) reconstructed the global molecular phylogeny of the subfamily (using ultraconserved elements), demonstrating that the Australian genus Pamborus was monophyletic, sister to Maoriamborus from New Zealand, both representing a monophyletic Pamborini.
