Introduction
A subfamily of Plant Bugs, many Cylapinae are often associated with fungi found on rotten logs. Namyatova & Cassis (2022) provide a comprehensive review of all Australian taxa and identify the genus Peritropsica within Australia, despite no species being recognized. Further examination of specimens is required to determine the identity of Australian Peritropsica which may represent undescribed species.
