2008 - Updated by C.A.M. Reid
30 March 2006 - C.A.M. Reid, Australian Museum, Sydney, Australia
Introduction
The superfamily Chrysomeloidea currently is considered to comprise Vesperidae, Oxypeltidae, Disteniidae, Cerambycidae, Megalopodidae, Orsodacnidae and Chrysomelidae (Lawrence et al. 1999). Only Cerambycidae, Chrysomelidae and Megalopodidae occur in Australia, and only the two latter families are included here. ABRS expects to be able to add the checklist of Australian Cerambycidae before very long.
