Introduction
Cassidulids are distinguished in the order Cassiduloida by the following combination of character states: size small to large, apical system mono- or tetra-basal, petals broad, equal, bourrelets well developed, buccal pores present in post Senonian species; interambulacrum 5 with naked zone adorally.
