Ecological Descriptors

Presumedly a filter feeder; of all species of Branchinellla, this is the most specific in its habitat, which is pools on granite outcrops (Bayly 1997; Pinder et al. 2000; Timms, in press).

 

Note

This is the most variable species of Branchinella (Geddes 1981; author, unpublished data).
