Widespread throughout Australia: common in western NSW (Linder 1941; Geddes 1981; Timms & Sanders 2002), South Australia (Timms & Geddes 2003), Western Australia (Geddes 1981; Timms 2002) southern NT (Timms & Geddes 2003), south-west Qld (Timms & Sanders 2002), less common in Victoria (Geddes 1981).
