Type species:
Botulopa silicula infra Iredale, 1939 by original designation (Iredale fixed the type species as Botulopa silicula infra subsp. nov., which under Art. 61.4 implies Botulopa infra; however, the latter was a nomen nudum, stating "The Queensland species appears to differ slightly in form, and may be called Botulopa silicula infra subsp. nov.", and Botulopa is thus not available).
