Holotype AM P64188 1 specimen, 2 km east of Dam Awan (Rasch Pass), Madang Lagoon, Astrolabe Bay, Papua New Guinea.
Paratype(s) WAM C19571 1 specimen, Astrolabe Bay, Papua New Guinea
Comment: WAM paratype registration number quoted in Lowry & Dempsey (2006) is WAM 450-89. This number is from the old database and has now been changed to C19571. This new number for this specimen has been confirmed by WAM.
