Introduction
Allsopp (2022) notes that he has been unable to locate the holotype. Britton (1978) listed is as being in the Natural History Museum, London (NHM), but the specimen was not present when searched for in December 2019. It was registered as a primary type in the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC), but the specimen was apparently returned to the NHM.
