Introduced from southeast Asia, possibly in the aquarium trade on Hydrilla verticillata.

Ecological Descriptors

Adults and juveniles: aquatic, freshwater, predator.

 

Diagnosis

Pharyngeal styles, accessory copulatory pores, simple digestive tract that lacks crop caecae, five to eight testisacs, three pairs of eyes first pair anterior to last two pairs, last two pairs of eyes on the same annulus.
