Introduction
Species in Bagous are rearranged by Caldara et al. (2017), with Australian species assigned to new genera and subgenera of Bagous. Caldara et al. (2017) also recognise a large number of species 'groups' within the subgenus Macropelmus, to several of which Australian species are assigned, but the species groups are not added here.
