Batopora Reuss, 1867.
Introduction
The family Batoporidae has been merged with Orbituliporidae by some authors: the separation of Batoporidae is maintained by Bock & Cook (2004) for two genera, Batopora and Lacrimula.
The two genera include a range of similar forms, and are currently distinguished by the shape of the primary orifice, the origin of rootlets, and the relationships of the ovicell (Bock & Cook, 2004).
