The names 'delunaris Strand, 1912 (Hypaetra) infrasubsp.', 'devittalis Strand, 1912 (Hypaetra) infrasubsp.', 'discoloralis Strand, 1912 (Hypaetra) infrasubsp.', 'subdiscoloralis Strand, 1912 (Hypaetra) infrasubsp.' and 'thursdayensis Strand, 1912 (Hypaetra) infrasubsp.', are listed by Nielsen et al. (1996: 305) as synonyms under this species, but with no indication of the original species.
