Introduction

Austrorhytida warrumbunglensis is a larger but similar species to A. capillacea isolated much farther west. The species' distribution limits are poorly known.

Diagnosis

Shell large, yellowish-brown with darker radial streaks, discoidal with flattened spire; protoconch with vague radial ridges and microspiral striae, teleoconch sculpture of prominent radial ribs; umbilicus wide, U-shaped; diameter 28.5mm.
