Holotype WAM S37668 preserved specimen, Bonaparte Archipelago, Unnamed Island in Vulcan Islands Group, 1.4 km from NE corner of D’Arcy Island, NW Kimberley, WA [15°15’26”S 124°24’22”E].
Paratype(s) WAM S37636 18 preserved specimens, 3 shells cracked; AM C.465177 5 preserved specimens; WAM S49020 13 dried, mostly worn shells; AM C.465178 10 dried, mostly worn shells.
