Type data:
Syntype(s) MNHP, from moss, summit of Mt Gower, Lord Howe Is.; AM P18947 2 specimens (AM type specimens have been identified as Cubaris murina by S. Taiti, 2004 and were possibly not seen by Vandel, S. Keable, pers. comm., 2 September 2004; several specimens collected from Lord Howe Island by H.G. Gogger were separated in 1967 into five species and are likely to be have been mixed by Vandel, AJAG, 22 January 2005), from moss, summit of Mt Gower, Lord Howe Is.Type locality references:
