- Acerentulus westraliensis Womersley, H. 1932. A preliminary account of the Protura of Australia. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 57: 69-75 [71] [Tuxen, S.L. 1967. Australian Protura, their phylogeny and zoogeography. Zeitschrift für Zoologische Systematik und Evolutionsforschung 5: 1–53 [27] states 'The species was described from Crawley, Western Australia… The specimens from Crawley are partly westraliensis and partly victoriae mihi…'].
