Diagnosis
Head with broad, short V-shaped vertexal impression; antennal tubercles prominent; antennomeres XI as long as or shorter than antennomeres VIII-X combined. Pronotum with median and lateral longitudinal sulci usually distinct, with carina from median antebasal fovea to pronotal base; prosternum broadly rounded. Elytra with four basal foveae, with subhumeral fovea. Single median mesosternal fovea; lateral mesosternal foveae simple. Visible tergites 1-4 (IV-VII) subequal in length; 1-2 (IV-V) with widely separated mediobasal foveae.
