Introduction
To correct for Episcaphula tetrasticta Lea 1921 being a primary homonym of Episcaphula tetrasticta Gorham 1883, Mader (1934) proposed the name Episcaphula leai as a replacement for E.tetrasticta Lea 1921. Unaware of Mader (1934), Lawrence (1988) studied the type of Episcaphula tetrasticta Lea 1921 and transferred the species to Aulacocheilus. While agreement exists on generic position, the species name provided by Mader (1934) must be used.
