[190] (No. #271. Anchmophoba Turner, 1913 appears to be congeneric with Petta Warren, 1895, a junior homonym of Petta Malingren, 1866 in Vermes. The type species of Auchmophoba and Petta Warren, Auchmophoba tynnuta Turner, 1913 and Petta altemta Warren, 1895 respectively, are not conspecific as stated by Turner (1937a) and quoted by Fletcher and Nye (1984))
