Introduction
In addition to the named species listed here, unidentified species of Aspidiobates have been reported from Australia by Malipatil & Blyth (1982), Proctor (2001) and Boulton et al. (2004). Halliday (1998) and previous editions of this list incorrectly recorded Aspidiobates spatiosus Viets, 1969 from Australia.
