• Hipposideros diadema inornatus McKean, J.L. 1970. A new subspecies of the Horseshoe Bat, Hipposideros diadema from the Northern Territory, Australia. Western Australian Naturalist 11: 138-140 [138] [revised status following Woinarski et al. (2014)].

  Type data:

   Holotype NTM 4696 ♂ skin & skull, Deaf Adder Creek, where it emerges from the Arnhem Land Plateau, 55 miles due S of Oenpelli, NT 13º06´S, 132º56´E.
