Genus Arachnocampa Edwards, 1924

Introduction

The genus was redescribed by Baker (2010) and a diagnosis and key to the subgenera are provided. The publication is extensively illustrated.

Baker (2010) described the new subgenus A. lucifera and included in it A. tasmaniensis Ferguson. The subgenus A. (Arachnocampa) Edwards now includes only the New Zealand species A. luminosa (Skuse).
