Extra Distribution Information

Sparse distribution in the Wheat Belt of Western Australia: area bounded by Merredin, Northam, Narrogin, Lake King and Hyden. Also found in South America, Central America, North America including Hawaii, Canada, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, New Zealand and Iceland

Introduced.

The speciesrosea was previously included in Eisenia but was officially transferred to Aporrectodea by Gates (1976); however, some authors retain it in Eisenia and Qiu & Bouche (1998: 187) placed it in their new genus Koinodrilus Qiu & Bouche,1998 (cited in Blakemore, 2007)
