Kingston, T.J. The Australian Faunal Directory, http://biodiversity.org.au/afd (according to Blakemore (2000d) some specimens, including paratypes, attributed to Cryptodrilus polynephricus urethrae by Jamieson, B.G.M. 1974. The indigenous earthworms (Megascolecidae: Oligochaeta) of Tasmania. Bulletin of the British Museum (Natural History) Zoology 26: 201–328 were not conspecific; specimens including paratypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 'possibly the missing' 26 were found to conform to Aporodrilus monogynus; additional paratypes of C. p. urethrae, not examined by Blakemore (2000d), but that also appear to fit A. monogynus, include paratypes 8 (figured by Jamieson (1974) with a single female pore) and 12 (observed by Jameson (1974: 290) to have a single female pore)
