Status unknown, whereabouts unknown
Comment: Britton (1978) referred to a holotype and two paratypes that Houston & Weir (1992) interpreted as a lectotype designation. Allsopp (2020) stated that Britton (1978) did not mention why he accorded type status to any specimens and that this mention was not sufficient for a valid lectotype designation. Furthermore, Allsopp (2020) could not locate any syntypes but stated that as the species is well characterised there was no need for a neotype.

Adult: diurnal, volant.
Larva: soil dweller.
Extra Ecological Information
Larva major pest of pastures and a variety of crops in inland NSW.
