Genus Anous Stephens, 1826

 

Introduction

In a molecular study of the genus Procelsterna Cibois et al. (2016) presented evidence for placing Procelsterna in the synonymy of Anous. We follow these authors and Birdlife Australia in placing all Noddy species into the genus Anous.
