Extra Ecological Information
Larva found in a wide range of temporary and permanent water bodies with emergent, marginal vegetation such as freshwater ground pools, rice fields, uncovered wells, waterholes, ponds, marshes, swamps, rock pools, puddles, amongst green filamentous algae in streams and artificial containers; larvae are cannibalistic, for extensive biological information see Lee et al.
