Ecological Descriptors

Larva: sap-sucker (associated flora: Eucalyptus amygdalina Labill., 1806 [MYRTACEAE] Black Peppermint; Eucalyptus spp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Trees; Eucalyptus diversifolia Bonpl., 1814 [MYRTACEAE] Soap Mallee; Eucalyptus obliqua L'Hér. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus nitida J.D.Hook. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus pilularis Smith [MYRTACEAE]).

Extra Ecological Information

On Eucalyptus obliqua, E. nitida, E. amygdalina and E. pilularis in TAS, E. diversifolia in SA, and Eucalyptus spp. in SA and VIC; larvae live under deserted lerps and leaf galls of other psyllid species.
