Ecological Descriptors
Colonial, continental shelf, encrusting, filter-feeder, sessile.
Notes
The local form has been reported as the European species A. monodon (Wass & Yoo, 1983), but appears to be more closely related to the fossil species A. voigti from southwest Victoria.
