- Analcodes Turner, A.J. 1947. Revision of Australian Lepidoptera. Oecophoridae. XIV. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 72: 143-158 [153].
Type species:
Analcodes hyperchyta Turner, 1947 by monotypy. - Aphanta Turner, A.J. 1947. Revision of Australian Lepidoptera. Oecophoridae. XIV. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 72: 143-158 [144] [nom. nud.; name was first published by Turner (1947e: 144) in a key to genera, without the designation of a type species. As it was published after 1930 it was not nomenclaturally available (Code [1986] Article 13(b)). Apparently Turner (1947e: 153) discovered that Aphanta had already been established in the Hymenoptera and changed it to Analcodes; see Nielsen, E.S., Edwards, E.D. & Rangsi, T.V. 1996. Checklist of the Lepidoptera of Australia. Monogr. Aust. Lepid. 4: i–xiv, 1–529 & CD–ROM (344: Note #87)].
