Diagnosis
Massive reversed conical sponges with shallow depression at the top. Desmas as smooth, slender and poorly branched megaclones displaying weak zygosis; outermost layer of megaclones with long spine directed outward. Ectosomal spicules are dichotriaenes and anatriaenes. Other megascleres are oxeas of two size categories. Microscleres are streptasters/amphiasters, microxeas and microstyles.
