Paratype(s) QM various numerous (no date recorded, presenter T. Whitehead), trawled at 110 m off Cape Moreton, SE QLD; AMS 364620 (depth 128-137 m, by FRV “Kapala”, 2 June, 1978, Station: K78-09-09/10. Collector: K.J. Graham, ex), off Tweed Heads, NSW [28° 14’ – 28° 19’S, 153° 50’E].
