Holotype ANIC No. 9110 soldier, Port Hedland, WA.
Paratype(s) ANIC worker (morphotype); ANIC series No. 10 10355 nymphs, soldier, workers (type colony; the soldier in series 10355 is an undescribed species, not A. rotundus).
