Comment: Fruhstorfer in the original description indicated that he had several specimens; Evans, W.H. 1949. A Catalogue of the Hesperiidae from Europe, Asia and Australia in the British Museum (Natural History). London : British Museum xix 502 pp. 53 pls [54] (indicated that Fruhstorfer had a male, gave no indication that the type(s) was(were) in the BMNH).Type locality references:

Extra Ecological Information
Eggs laid singly on upper surface of leaves of food plant, larva builds distinctive silk-lined shelters in leaves of food plant, pupa in last larval shelter, adult flies rapidly in depauperate rainforest, recorded most months of the year.
