Agathia carissima Butler, 1878 by original designation.
Introduction
This Old World genus is difficult to place within exisiting tribes on genitalia morpholgy and its distinctive wing facies (Holloway 1996). However affinities to the Nemoriini was suggested by Stekolnikov & Kuznetsov (1981).
