Ecological Descriptors

Arboreal, arthropod-feeder, low open woodland, low woodland, nocturnal, open forest, open scrub, sedentary, tall open shrubland, territorial, volant, woodland.

Extra Ecological Information

Randomly dispersed, seasonal breeder, feeds on wing in short, direct sallies or by perch and pounce to and from ground, roosts and nests mainly in eucalypt hollows, uncommon and apparently restricted to eucalypt forests and woodlands.
